Step outside to a private saltwater pool (open early May–late September), hot tub, sand beach, firepit, and a 200' deep-water dock—ideal for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or docking your boat. Kayaks and canoe are included, and yes—we’re dog friendly!
Nearby, Yankee Point Marina offers boat rentals, ramp access, kayak rentals, live music (summer weekends), a pool with snack bar, restaurant, and convenience store—all within walking distance. Take the free ferry into Kilmarnock for shopping, wineries, restaurants, art galleries, museums, and the Compass Entertainment Complex featuring arcade games, go-karts, ice skating, mini golf, and more.
Explore the river by boat and pull up to waterfront favorites like Merrior Tasting Room, Tides Inn, and Urbanna Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar—or play beach volleyball at Windmill Point Tiki Bar. You might even kayak alongside dolphins or spot rockfish from the dock!
Please note: The path to the water is natural and uneven in places, with small stumps along the way. We recommend sturdy shoes and a bit of caution—but the view and water access are well worth it!
