Summary: Booked a specific type of room over a month in advance, because it was needed for our family situation. When we went to check in on arrival, we were informed that that type of room wasn’t available and they had overbooked. We were put in a studio which definitely didn’t fit our needs, and the unfriendly, unhelpful front desk attendant offered little explanation or apologies. We then had to request bedding for the pull-out couch which was our only second sleeping option—they were not in the room. When we asked for extra pillows for this, we were told they didn’t have any. Again, with very little explanation or apology. She just gave us the managers card and said we could complain to him if we wanted. The room itself wasn’t terrible decor or style-wise, but the rest of the hotel was outdated and kinda gross. The halls smelled dirty and like marijuana. The pool didn’t have any towels provided, and our room didn’t have any extras. Oh, and the breakfast doesn’t start until 7am, so hopefully you don’t have an early start. For the price paid, which was extremely elevated because it was a busy weekend in the area, the quality of this hotel didn’t come close.
